Taxi from airport costs about 30
euros. There is car hire across the road beside
the supermarket.
Vilamoura is famous for its marina
and golf courses. The Old Course, Pinhal, Laguna
and Millennium are gems with recently opened
(Arnold Palmer designed), Victoria getting rave
reviews and hosts to the Portuguese Masters. The
Old village is a most picturesque setting with a
selection of exquisite restaurants (only 5 mins
walk).
The Marina is a most romantic
setting and boasts some of the nicest yachts on
the Algarve (15 mins walk). The restaurants are
wide ranging with authentic cuisine from many
countries, and if you want something a bit
livelier, some of the bars and clubs will be more
than happy to oblige. |
